On a 4.0 scale: 3.7โ4.0 = First Class with Distinction / Summa Cum Laude. 3.3โ3.69 = First Class / Magna Cum Laude. 3.0โ3.29 = Cum Laude. 2.5โ2.99 = Second Class. 2.0โ2.49 = Passing. Below 2.0 = Academic probation risk. On India's 10.0 scale: 9.0+ = Outstanding, 7.5โ8.99 = Excellent, 6.0โ7.49 = Good, 5.0โ5.99 = Average, below 5.0 = Needs improvement.
